Program Partner - Timor-Leste

Timor-Leste Food Lab

Act Together partners with Timor-Leste Food Lab, a social enterprise tackling food insecurity, malnutrition, and unemployment in Timor-Leste through community-driven capacity building and business development.

Since 2016, the Timor-Leste Food Lab team has supported a new generation of young Timorese social entrepreneurs with coaching and training in financial literacy, organisational management, life skills, product innovation, and marketing. They also foster peer learning and exchange between youth, entrepreneurs, and community leaders to address complex challenges related to food, nutrition, and sustainable livelihoods.

Timor-Leste Food Lab helps facilitate Act Together’s first Social Innovation Collective in Timor-Leste and mentors the people and initiatives we support.
